The Worst Customer Service Ever

Not only did Proactiv make my skin flake, but I sent back the system within the 60 days and continued to get more.

I disputed the claim with my credit card company and contacted Proactiv. I was told by my credit card company that they would dispute the claims.

Then I get billed by Proactiv for the missed amount. They say they got the first package, but must have “lost” or “overlooked” the letter, and that I have to pay the full amount because there’s no notification on file of me canceling, just sending the package back. I am so mad!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER after it ruined my skin for trial period that by the way isnt free. they continued to take money from my account even after i sent it back and to top it off i had a rash on my face that too every bit of 52 days to clear up wich made me more angry when they claimed they closed my account and mistakenly still taking my money

I Thought i was Ordering a 60 day Trial, for $19.95. They said i could try it for 60 days and if i decide if i want it, i could get auto shipping .. and it ends up being $33.49 altogether..this is just the very first kit (the trial kit)..

So I get my trial kit, with my invoice statement. And it said that your three month supply of proactiv solution is on the way and will receive it in two to three weeks and it ends up costing $90.. I did not even want this.. and i did not even tell them i wanted further shipments of proactive solution..

I am not able to use this stuff, it does irritates my face and stings and burns; And i called them and told them this.. And they already took money out of my account.. They did this on Oct 5th.210..They took $40.86 And when i call, they already know who you are and don’t ask for your account Number or Address.. It just all seems fishy to me.. I hope i don’t get more shipments of this, and have a battle on my hands.. They just gave me a run around about why they took out $40.86.. But now i am going to have to pay the $90.. I sure hope no one else through this mess..

Customer service is a mess.
After my breakout were getting worse every day I rushed to boy “something” is a rather panic mode. So Feb 12 I placed an order online. While in the order page I got some sort of the security error; still I got an e-mail confirmation that my order was being processed. I called the customer service and they told me that they did not see my order at all, suggesting to call on Feb 14. So I called Feb 14, and they told me that in according to their “almighty system” my order was shipped on Feb 11(!!!). This was one day BEFORE I placed an order.
By that time I had read enough to change my mind about Proactive so asked them to cancel my order and provide me with the refund. To what I was told that once the order was placed there was no way to cancel it! WTF? So my only option was to wait for the package to arrive and send it back. So still I’d be loosing money for shipping back.
Ladies on the phone do not seem to know a crap about their “system”; and have no answer to even common question such as when/where to apply their product after shaving. Sending questions through their web site seems to go nowhere. I am getting no answers.
Either way I am getting my credit card involved in the dispute and recommend to stay away from the company that invested so much into marketing bullshit while cutting corners on the customer service.
The only positive moment was that they did not outsource yet(!) their support phone line to some foreign country like Bell did in attempt to save a couple of bucks.

I’m so mad at them. I let my friend use my debit card and he ordered a plan for 29.99 somehow they signed him up for a reoccurring plan. Proactiv sent me a second package that I never wanted in October and it is now January and they still have refunded my money.
