So true - diet helped my acne but not much.

I am proof that diet alone isnt enough.

Last september I was in the best shape of my life and getting ready for a fight. (Im a martial artist), during this time I guzzled milk, white carbs,Tv dinners, protein shakes, veggies,or whatever I wanted to eat. And yes I did have moderate acne....but let me continue.

During my fight in september, I dislocated my shoulder and was told my martial arts was over by doctors and lost my job all at once. During this time of letting my shoulder heal and being out of work, all I did was lay around and cry saying "my life is over now!"......

after about 3 months of this my face broke out really bad and stayed that way. I also had BP readings of 182/90 ....which isnt good!

So, I started to eat alot more veggies cut out "trigger" foods...ect to clear my skin.....well it helped a little bit but not really.

When my shoulder healed and I started training and returned to work, my stress levels went down and my skin tone started to heal up a little. But, i've done some damage using that damn benzoyl peroxide. Arg!

Benzoyl Peroxide
by: Biff

I used this stuff years ago, on my doctor's recommendation and it's nasty. I remember spilling some on a dark coloured t-shirt and it bleached it pretty badly.

I would avoid applying anything like this to your skin. Avoid chemicals as it's likely to result in scarring.
