Proactiv makes my skin burn

2

I just started using Proactiv and my skin is RIDICULOUSLY dry. It has never been this dry before, and it burns. Also, so far, my acne has not gone away.

I give Proactiv a thumbs down.

Hi, I’m 29 and just purchased Proactiv for the 1st time. I’m a little worried about the side effects on my skin. My face has come out very red and bumpy, it seems like a rash all over my face. Almost like it has brought all the acne under the skin to the surface. Will this clear up if I continue to use Proactiv or should I stop?

If anyone can give me advise that would be great.

Your skin probably reacts to the chemicals in Proactiv. Benzoyl Peroxide causes redness and irritation in some people. Most likely it will not stop over time.

Thank you. I have stopped using it now and won’t try again. Hopefully it doesn’t take to long for the reaction to go away.
