Simple Breathing Technique To Prevent Acne

Here’s a simple technique to pump more oxygen into your bloodstream. I learned this from Tony Robbins Get the Edge program. It’s called 1-4-2 breathing technique and it’s really simple. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Take a deep breath and count, for example, to 5
  2. Hold your breath and count to 20
  3. Exhale and count to 10

So you hold your breath 4 times as long as it took to inhale and exhaling should take twice the time it took to inhale – thus the 1-4-2 name. To get the most out of it do it 3 times a day and, ideally, in a place with clean, oxygen rich air (like a beach, forest or a park)

While inhaling I’m counting to 5 or 6, but see what works for you.

This technique is quite amazing. It oxygenates the blood, detoxes the blood and the lungs and strengthens the lungs.
