My journey with diet

by James

I am going through this right now. I have been dealing with chin/lip acne for over a year now. I might get some acne on my neck and near nose but it usually goes and heals pretty quick and it's not as persistent.

I've heard this is more than likely hormonal acne due to hormonal imbalance from within. So it only makes sense to try to eat a healthy diet and live healthy positive life to clear this up.

I have been on antibiotics and topicals, yes they do help but its just short term and i still get the acne. I started to clear up to where I had maybe one active inflamed pimple on my chin/lip every week or two and that's about it, but my diet was not 100% organic. Now i have been 100% organic, gluten free, dairy, and soy free for about a month now.

Things were going good for the most part until recently where i had about 4 inflamed whiteheads pop up on my chin and one again on lip line.

This makes it really hard to stay positive and focused on clear skin but i am doing my best to not let it get to me and believe that it is hopefully just the diet detox that i am going through of cleaning my system, since i have been including more greens with meals and smoothies in mornings, getting sunlight and running outside.

I am going to continue to stay on this diet and be focused because i do still believe that this is the only way i can finally cure myself. I have the book CFL and i still look over it, its great!!

Even made my mind movie! For those of you that have not bought CFL, i highly encourage it. It will open your eyes a lot more about yourself and acne. I am going to stay strong and keep on fighting this horrible disease and hopefully clean it out for life!!!

Thanks for sharing James. The detox process can be a bit difficult to go through. It's easy to get discouraged when you don't see big results on your skin.

Try to keep in mind that the skin is usually the last organ to reflect your progress. That's why I encourage you to look for other signs of progress. Like how you feel overall? do you have more energy? and so on.

Keep up the good work!
