How Acnezine WorksYou may have read or heard complaints that Acnezine is nothing but an expensive multivitamin and does nothing to acne. While it's true that Acnezine contains many vitamins it is backed by specific science as to how and why it works.Toxins and free radicalsDid you know that your body is brimming with toxins? Toxins are harmful substances that damage your body. And in this modern age toxins are everywhere. They are: - In the stuff you eat - herbicides, food additives, preservatives, MSG, hydrogenated oils, alcohol, caffeine, etc...
- In the stuff you breathe - air pollution, cigarette smoke, air refresheners, paints, etc...
- Toxins are also produced in your body through bacterial metabolism. To put it in other words, bacteria ferment and putrefy the food you eat
If you've read my website or other articles you know that I 'preach' extensively about toxins and their effect on acne. That is because toxins are like highly optimized 'free radical factories'. Free radicals are one of the most intensively researched subjects in medical science over the last decade or two. Free radicals are bad. They cause cell mutations, damage immune function, cause wrinkles, skin damage and aging and are a contributing cause behind many diseases including cancer, heart disease, arthritis, Alzheimers, Parkinson's, and others. Free radical damage is a factor behind almost every known disease according to some researchers. Free radicals damage not only the cells they come in contact with, but also the DNA inside the cells. So when the cells are replaced by new cells they may by mutated and not function the same way anymore. Explanation of how free radicals cause damage is somewhat technical (and boring), but if you are interested I'm sure that Google is more than happy to tell you. Free radicals and acneThe liver is particularly susceptible to free radical damage, as it's responsible to neutralizing most of the toxins from our bodies. Because of (most likely) free radical damage the liver of an acne victim fails to effectively deal with hormone production and regulation. Because of this acne victims have too much androgens (type of hormones) in the bloodstream. Androgens signal the skin to produce more oil (sebum). Excessive oil leads to blocked pores and eventually acne. Other hormones may also contribute, but androgens are the most widely researched in connection with acne. How Acnezine fights acneAcnezine works because it contains a wide range of antioxidants. Antioxidants can boost you health in many ways, but most importantly: - The antioxidants in Acnezine hunt down and destroy free radicals before they can cause damage
- Antioxidants neutralize toxins. This takes off some of the load from the liver and gives it more time to regulate hormone levels --> skin produces less oil --> bye bye acne
- Antioxidants boost the immune system. Properly functioning immune system prevents acne by keeping acne-causing bacteria at bay
- The antioxidants in Acnezine protect essential fatty acids (EFAs). EFAs are converted into anti-inflammatory hormones, Prostaglandin Series 1 (PGE1), which have been shown to reduce oil production in the skin and thus acne. If left unchecked free radicals damage EFAs before they are converted into anti-inflammatory hormones
So to summarize, Acnezine contains a wide variety of antioxidants that work together to prevent, reduce and correct the damage toxins have caused. By correcting this damage Acnezine helps the liver to maintain proper hormone balance and the immune system to keep the acne-causing bacteria at bay. All this is not only good for your skin, but also for your overall health. However, there are also few downsides with Acnezine
