To tell the truth I think the main reason I continue to struggle with acne is because of not one, but two severe allergic reactions. I had not been allergic to anything in my life. I had no idea what the symptoms of being allergic to something were since I never had to worry about it.

I am allergic to msg or something like that I'm not even sure, but I know I can't eat kung pao chicken with the sweet sauce. I think the sauce did it for me. I would notice that everytime I ate that stuff I would get a runny nose, so looking back that was a symptom of being allergic.

This was around new year's of 03. I woke up the next morning with hives at the bottom of my feet which spread all over. It got worse, however the second reaction I got after I recovered from the first one completely numbed my stomach for 10 minutes. It felt the same as having your leg fall asleep, but in the abdominal region! It really pissed me off which makes it worse. My stomach started scabbing from all the dead skin which took several months to peel off. Now that area is slightly discolored from that whole ordeal which still pisses me off to this day. Well there goes my modeling career! Lol.

Man, that sounds like a severe allergic reaction. Glad to hear you are doing better now. MSG and other chemicals in foods can be quite dangerous. As this story shows.
