Acne No More Review
I have been eying the sales page of Mike Walden’s Acne No More book for a while now. I had really high expectations when I finally got my hands on the book. I always thought that this book would be the real deal.
Was I right? Read on to find out…
I was positively surprised already when I read the introduction. Mike obviously understands how human mind works. Doing the simple exercises at the beginning helps you to stay motivated throughout the program, and ensures that you actually do get clear as quickly as possible.
This shows me that Mike is really dedicated to help you get clear – not to take your moneys and run.
The chapter on what causes acne is quite shallow in my opinion. Mike does state the cause of acne correctly, but I would have liked to see him back it a bit more. On the other hand the book is all about curing acne not what causes it, so I’m sure we can forgive that.
The meat of the program
The Acne No More is truly brilliant and guaranteed to cure anybody’s acne. The system combines detox-based diets with juice fasting in a way that takes the best of both.
The program does take some discipline to follow through, but it’s well worth it.
I also liked the chapter on stress control techniques and the importance of your mental state on acne and health in general. There are numerous of books written on both subjects and obviously Mike can only scratch the surface on his book. That is not to say that you should ignore them. He gives you some very powerful tools that, if used diligently, will help you tremendously.
About Acne No More money back guarantee
Some people have said that the money back guarantee has several strings attached to it. That may be true, but here’s a secret tip for you. Acne No More by Mike Walden through a company called Clickbank. What most people don’t know is that Clickbank issues a refund very easily. In your receipt email there’s a link for requesting technical support. Click that. On the page that opens there’s a form for requesting technical support/refund. Just submit the form and you’ll get your refund. Clickbank doesn’t even ask Mike Walden about it. So you really have nothing to risk because you are guaranteed to get your money back if you don’t like the program.

detox is a myth ! NO evidence….
Your body is constantly detoxing, that’s why you have a liver and kidneys, if toxins were allowed to build up you’d die ! there is a narrow margin on what is liveable…..no scientific evidence for any of this De-Tox crap….sorry guys, and I’m into natural cures, as an NP.

While I do agree with you that most detoxes in the market at waste of time and money, you’ll excuse me if I don’t agree with your ‘scientifically proven’ statement. Simply because real world results contradict it. People who follow a healthy diet and lifestyle and take time to detoxify get fantastic results.
This is again a case where scientist wants to convince me that the sky is green – even if you can see with your own eyes it’s blue. I trust my own eyes and experience more than some scientific paper.
I have read, researched & compared. Online countless hours trying to determine which product works the best. Mike Walden Acne No More or Mr. X Acne Says You Can Clear Your Acne? Both, Im told are ex-acne sufferers. Im not sure which one to purchase so I am asking for your help. Please help me weigh the pros and cons of both products (cost, time, lifestyle change, etc).
Thank You in advance.
@Very curious,
I don’t think Mr. X is available anymore. It seems that the guy behind it puts up a new acne book every few years. I don’t know what’s his latest book.
Acne No More is better. But like I mentioned in the review it’s a very hard detox regimen to follow, and with all the supplements and juicers and all it’s going to end up costing you a few hundred dollars.
Acne No More helps some people, but not everybody. I’ve heard from quite a few people that followed it to the tee and didn’t get the results. That’s probably because the program misses some key areas in acne. That said, it’s still one of the better programs out there.
One more thing, if you want to ask for a refund they are going to ask you to send in receipts for all the supplements you bought – just to make sure you followed the program.
but ive read somewhere here in your blog that you dont believe in supplements just get em from whole foods that has a lot of it, and in walden’s book you’ll need to buy and take in supplements to complete the program. In this entry it is as if you agree wih walden’s solution..isnt that a bit contradicting?
@Lalaine, I don’t have to agree with every part of Mike’s program to recommend it. I’ve also done quite a bit of new research lately and have changed my mind a bit about supplements. While you should get most of your nutrients from foods, there is value in taking certain ‘strategic’ supplements.
now im confused whether to get your book or walden’s…hahahaha…or il end up getting both..
@lalaine.. Hehee.. maybe I’m a bit biased to answer this, but I think my book offers better value for money and is more effective in the long term. Especially once I get the updated version out (in the next few weeks). The update is free for all customers, so if you buy now you’ll get the updated version for free once I release it.
cool!! thanks that really helps
@seppo, I have been looking at acne free in 3 days and acne no more trying to decide which one to get. but I’m interested, what’s your book?
@Mitchell, please avoid Acne Free in 3 Days. It will just be a lunch bad letdown for you. There is very little substance in that book. Acne No More is much better.
My book, Clear for Life, is quite different from the two above books. First, it’s based almost completely on science. I’ve referenced from several hundred studies when I’ve been putting it together.
Or I should say this applies to the updated version I’m working on now. The current version is still good, but I’ve learned so much during the past year that I needed to redo it. I have a policy of lifetime of free updates. So if you buy now, you’ll get the updated version once it comes out.
Basically the idea is that acne starts at skin pores. In a nutshell. Sebum gets damaged by oxidation (free radicals). This brings down the oxygen content and makes it suitable environment for P. Acnes bacteria, which then adds its own inflammatory insult to the mix.
That’s when you get ugly, red pimples and that’s what we need to fight with.
How to fight it gets a bit complicated because there are thousands and thousands of factors that influence it. But the basic idea is that with smart diet and lifestyle changes you can reduce sebum production and inflammation in the skin, which reduces your changes of getting acne.
On top of that I’m going to share targeted supplements that speed up the healing process, as well as some science-based skin care recommendations.
So when you put all those together your changes of getting clear get very high. I don’t think there is a 100% surefire way to cure acne for everybody, but anyone who implements all the above should at least see a significant change on their skin.
All and all I think Clear for Life program is fairly easy to implement into your life and shuldn’t cost you a bomb. The diet changes aren’t drastic, and I don’t view them as a black and white matter. Meaning that for many people little bit of cheating ain’t going to make a difference.

Hi Seppo,
I have acne and eczema. My eczema is not active right now however it flares occasionally due to weather and some acne medications. Is your book safe for individuals with both acne and eczema? Thanks!
@Rj, acne and eczema are quite similar conditions, and often what works for acne works for eczema and vice versa (with some exceptions). So I would be confident that it can help you with both conditions.
hello,am a Ugandan but iv gotn a problem accessing the acne no more book using my debit card.its valid till 2013 but when i punch in the info on the card am told to use a credit card.dont debit cards work?
Hi Seppo.
I wanted to know if your program is helpfull for someone who suffer from rosacea?
Hi there Seppo,
I am on the verge of purchasing your book. In the past I have downloaded Acne No More only to be competely disheartened by how strict it was. I am studying Naturopathy and have a fair understanding, and have been studying, the diet – blood sugar- acne connection for more years than I care to remember ( I have had acne for over 13 years, yay!) So obviously I haven’t found what works yet.
Is the answer really as strict as Mike paints it to be? Such a strict diet, cleanses, liver flushes, fasts, colonics is not really attainable as a mere human – especially a busy human. I am following a rather restrictive diet at the moment – just incase you think I’m being a baby and saying that it was ‘too hard waaaa!’. You have given his book a good rating yet you have said that yours does not include colonics, strict flushes etc so can we get clear without the torture? I have tried so many things in the past that it is hard not to be skeptical. Will your book offer me different opinions and treatment pathways to what is in Acne No more? I’m guessing that it shouldn’t matter where the acne is located but I’ll ask anyway – Has your book been successful in treating back and chest acne? I don’t have pimples on my face often but they have been on my chest and back since before I started high school, I have read that treating acne on other areas of the body require different strategies.
I really appreciate any advice you can offer and I am looking forward to hearing from you so I can have peace of mind about my purchase.
love & light

@chick_pea, sorry for my late reply. My family was visiting me in Thailand and we went to Koh Samui (an island at Southern Thailand). Of course the whole place got flooded and we were out of electricity for a few days and had to sleep one night at the airport before getting out of there.
Yes, Mike’s book is very strict. And it includes lots of things I don’t agree with anymore. It’s actually quite a while since I wrote that review. I still think that poeple who can follow Acne No More should get good results with it. Not for the reasons Mike Walden says, but simply because the measures will lead to fat loss, improve insulin sensitivity and reduce chronic inflammation.
One problem with ANM is that it doesn’t address the emotional component in acne sufficiently. Very few programs do, for that matter. For people with chronic, adult acne emotions probably play a big part in it.
Another problem is the strictness of the program. I don’t really see a point in starving your life out of joy just to get clear. There are less strict measures to deal with insulin resistance and chronic inflammation.
If you are interested of Clear for Life, please come to myacne forums. There’s already a lot of discussions there and I’ll be happy to answer any questions and guide you further (even if you don’t buy the book).
@Yan, to be honest I don’t know rosacea that well. I know it’s an inflammatory skin condition and the research on acne and rosacea stress similar causes and influences. So my gut feeling is that yes CFL should help with rosacea also, but I can’t be 100% sure about that as I’m not so familiar with that condition. If you find that CFL doesn’t work for you, I’ll be happy to refund your order.
Whatever is written in the book is not at the reach of everyone to do specially if you are busy. Also some of the steps in the program like ‘liver flush’ can be dangerous. Moreover what stuns me the most is that they claim to offer services even after having bought the book which is not the case! All that they say is consult your physician, doctor etc, but god damn if we had to consult them we wouldn’t have bought this book!! Also it claims it is not costly but sure it is with the dozens of supplements we have to but, all the organic food, the amount of time we must invest. I’ve bought the book since last year and i’m still trying to figure out how i can apply it!! So think well guys!
Hi Seppo,
Ive almost got rid of my acne completely but i still have visible scars (not very bad scars but they still bug me) does ur book cover scars? And do you have any tips for getting rid of scars?

@Wisnawan, if this relates to Acne No More purchase then I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do about that. I have no access to the customer database. @Hibah, currently there are not too many reliable scar treatments, but please come to the forums and I’ll see if I can advice you further.

My family’s acne issue involves high androgen levels and insufficient liver function. Does your book or any of the others address how to balance hormones?
@Rita, hormone levels are affected by your diet and lifestyle. Fixing those should help to balance your hormone levels, but nobody can say for 100% sure that it will be enough.
good product recommended to all
Hi Seppo,
I have a a lot of whiteheads all over my cheeks, they are very enjoying, I can,t get rid of them. I was wondering if with you book I can eliminate them once and for all. I am afraid of following any strick diet because I am thin and I want to gain some wheight instead of losing it.
Does your method is about dieting and cleaning you body constantly?
@Patricia, I don’t like cleansing and strict diets. In most cases they cause more stress than help (if they help at all). So I don’t recommend them. I’m trying to help you to find solutions that allow your to maintain as normal life as possible. Some diet restrictions might be necessary (such as dairy and wheat for some people). In my experience stress and emotional suffering caused by acne perpetuates it more than anything you eat. So I try to get you to focus on that also.
Let me be completely honest with you. There are no 100% guaranteed ways to cure acne. Anyone who claims that don’t know what they are talking about (I have been guilty of this also). That’s because acne is partially genetic and affected by things you can’t fully control. That said, there’s a lot you can do, and most people do see a significant improvement on their skin.
hi seppo.i just wanted to ask if the acne no more book of mike walden is still available as of todays? coz i’ve beem searching it even in the national book store but i did not found it..i cant buy it in via credit card coz i dont have it yet..can u please help me?tnx a lot.:)
@Lovely, Acne No More is not available from book stores. You can only get it online. As far as I know, it’s still available.
I came across the acne no more website by accident. Being an acne sufferer, I wanted to buy it. However, I’m no fool so I do what I always do and that is to surf the web for “real” reviews. The ones on the page look so phony. Amazingly, after searching the web for less than ten minutes, I am finding it impossible to find an authentic review of acne no more. Most of the web sites have a name similar to acne no more, just a website dedicated to reviewing acne no more, all the “negative” reviews are sugarcoated and every website has a link to buy the ebook. This whole system just reeks of a scam to me. Even the acne no more webpage is set up like the infamous informercials that we have come to love so much. First they bombard you with all this information to grab your attention. I do appreciate how he appeals to our emotions by sharing that he too was once an acne suffer too. Oh wow, someone just like me! Wow, I should trust this guy and buy his book. I also love the traditional “Buy this product now for limited low price! Buy it now before the produce increases to 4x the amount!” bit. Okay seriously, I will admit I do like his concept of curing acne naturally which is what caught my attention. I also believe that acne is your body’s attempt to warn you that you need to get your ish together. I just wanted some unbiased reviews. So off to the web I go! Maybe if I encounter some “real” reviews (good or bad) I will consider buying this product. In the meantime, for those curious about buying the acne no more book, I would say if it quacks like a duck and acts like a duck well then it must be a duck!
@seppo,
please tell me honestly if you think that this acne product could potentially work. I’ve been using many different products for years and my acne always seems to reappear. I would love to try this method, or even yours, but I would fucking hate it if this was just a scam. So please, tell me if this acne no more thing could potentially work. Thanks, this would be a great help if you can answer me.
@anonymous, Acne No More is not scam. You get what you paid for, which is a detailed book on what Mike Walden believes is the best way to cure acne. Now, whether that method is a good way to cure acne, that’s a different matter. A year or two ago I would have agreed with Mike. But now that I’ve done more research (reading actual medical studies) I’m starting to disagree. Basically Acne No More puts you through these detox programs and on a strict diet. For sure this can help your skin, but the question is how long you can maintain it.
